In a word - lots.

It's a huge school, lots of research in lots of departments, and they are always more than willing to let you participate. This is a huge strength of WSU that is often overlooked.
 
I agree. WSU is a research POWERHOUSE. Even if there isn't an official program with the medical school (which I'm sure there is), you can always contact a primary investigator and volunteer your time. Just send them a resume and a short cover letter to express your interest. I'm sure many professors would love to have a med student volunteer his/her time to their lab.
 
Personally I didn't do any research at Wayne but there is a lot out there. It isn't organized, but you can easily find something to do with a little initiative.
