I submitted my transcript to AMCAS in mid May while I was still taking my spring quarter classes (thinking that my spring quarter grades would not make too much of a difference to my GPA). This transcript has already been received by AMCAS.

However, I just found out my spring quarter grades and I ended up doing better than expected. My GPA improved quite a bit also. Since I have not submitted my application yet, is it possible for me to send AMCAS another transcript with my new grades and GPA? Will the new transcript effectively "replace" the old transcript that AMCAS already has on file? Thanks for your help.

Not sure. You should call 202-828-0600 at 9 a.m. E.T., rather than listen to anyone here, for information on that one.
