I'm a first year resident at St. Vincent Charity Hospital - Cleveland, OH. What questions do you have about the program?
As for the UPMC vs West Penn program - both excellent programs with academics and surgical volume. I think if you're externing at either Program then you should try to arrange a visit with the other. Both have excellent attendings for sure. I personally rotated at UPMC for the month and absolutely loved it. The residents were very competent and helpful as well as the attendings.
