College must have changed dramatically since when I went. I never heard of anyone retaking a class to get a better grade/GPA. Unless the 1s grade is completely erased from your record, then what is the point?

So you got an A in a class that took you twice as much studying/time to take vs most med students that got an A the 1st time?
