retaking part 1 - urgent help reqd.

hey frnds,
i m planning to retake my part 1, since i got a score of 85, my concern is that if by ill fate, i get a score below 85, then which score will be considered..do they consider the latest score or the better of the two?
Also, would it be wise to take part 2 for now and later retake part 1 if reqd., meaning can part 2 be taken prior to part 1 reexamination?
i m really confused...plz help me out..thanx a ton..

Latest score is considered valid.I think you shd. retake part 1.

i think u can take part 2 anytime after u take part 1 once, but best wud be to call up ada n find out.

yes u can take part 2 before retake of part 1...coz i have done that...hope it helps

I'm also retaking part 1 as i got 86 in part 1.But i am really confused abt the change is pattern of Part 1 into "comprehensive exam from Jan 2007 "as stated in ADA site". Would it be better to give Part 1 before 2007 or after ??

any suggestions???

hi,
i retook my part 1 after answering part2 and it was ok in my case.most schools are considering score s around 90.
if you give it before jan -you are going to be in a familiar zoneand also in time for sending applications to some schools.
the final decision has to be yours.

i was also thinking of giving part 2 first , then retake part 1, but this new part 1 is confusing me a lot! any idea who can give me a hint about what the new pattern is gonna be like ??😕

Im planning to retake part 1 since my score was 81 so if anyone has the new materials or some information about this test I took the part 1 long time ago 2 years ago and i think it is diferent thanks

😕 I am in too minds too, since there is going to be a pattern change. I scored 88% in part1. I'm not sure if i shud take part 2 before retaking part1. please suggest what would be best.
