What do you guys think of Dr. Robert Simon's comment on VSP? (mentioning how VSP should not be able to disqualify a patient if they are less than 0.50D)

He is basically saying that the patient who has OD: -0.25DS, OS: -0.25DS
is in need of glasses. (as was mentioned in his example case)

-0.25sph is not an unheard of Rx. Obviously its far from blind but its not to say that it is not needed. Now 0.12sph would be justified in disqualifying.

they bought a pre-paid discount (basically a coupon), they should be able to get plano sunglasses if they want to. VSP is a discount eyeglass plan, not a health plan.
