Maybe I should learn some Spanish...wait...this is an English-speaking country, right??? My sister once told me she learned more Spanish while in Colorado than she learned in San Diego. Said so many people there are bilingual you don't have to worry about it.

thanks...it's one of those times that I realize I am too old for a roommate and not naive enough. Undergrad should have been my indication...every time I had a roommate, I moved out before the end of the year...

sadly, I'm sure it's playing a role. Her bf is really nice and he hung out with me and my bf before he started dating my roommate.
