So I was wondering if there's a good source for molecular biology techniques
There're so many and I don't know when to use which

I know the basics, like which for DNA and RNA, what is PCR and all that stuff, but I can't determine which to use in clinical settings. like when they ask a patient has so and so and you want to test him, what is the best technique:/ ?

I studied kaplan lecture notes, First aid, and solved UW questions and still can't quite get it. So I would really appreciate if someone can recommend a good source, no textbooks please, I need something that's board relevant

Thanks

its all in FA, and kaplan. FISH for molecular analysis of the chromsomes for things you cant pick up on karyotypical analysis(viewing the chromsomes grossly) etc.
