im not plama_56 but I also got into Albany. My stats are: GPA 3.93, PCAT: 91%, no volunteers or extracurriculars (too busy with life), some work experiences not related to pharmacy at all. I'm from Washington State. I don't think that a private schools cares about ur residencyout of curiosity, are you an in-state applicant??
Well, what you said may be true for some schools. But I think that different pharmacy schools look for different stuff. Some schools don't require PCAT and won't consider it even if u have it. Some schools weighs more on your interview and work experience than grades. As in the case of Albany, all they look at is your academics (this is what I heard from the counsellor over there). This is why we apply to many different schools because different people have different strength and attributes. And good luck on ur applicationsCongratulation on getting into pharmacy school!!! I just got accepted into the South University SoP for the class of 2010! I am so excited!
For those of you who were accepted into Mercer, do you all have any idea about approximately how many students have been accepted for Fall of 07?
Mercer has around 140 seats, but last year they had to accept around 240 students to fill those seats.
