Does anyone know whether Rosalind lets you know if you are offered an interview by snail mail or email. I heard they take about two weeks from verifing your application to make a decision whether to offer you an inverview- does anyone know the accuracy of this?

I got an interview invite via email. I think my file had been complete for 2-3 weeks...hope that helps

They send e-mails for interviews, and mine is this Friday... 😀

After 2-3 week you may want to call. I was placed in the Potential to Interview category or whatever that-most likely a delayed rejection. But they have been sending out rejection letters via snail mail, invites via email, and the potential category, I had to call and find out.

it's email...I think they will offer you an interview if your stats are really high. It's a stats hoar school 😀

Reallly...I thought their requirements were average.

Dang it wouldn't have applied if I knew that...wasted $95.

i'm surprised they're a stats ***** school. i thought my essay on a "life in discovery" would get me an interview at least. i guess not...my stats are plain old average!

Disagree there...white male, with 28MCAT and interviewed on first day they offered them. They are not stats ******.

I suffer from writer's block 24/7/365 but I actually liked writing this essay since it was an original topic.

Rayhan..as an ex-physio and based on the advice of a lot of other ex-physios..RF tends to favor applicants with grad degrees, esp gtown smp. so you didnt waste $95 bucks. but dont plan on hearing from them till like feb though!

I got offered an interview, and they were definitely slower than 2 weeks after I was complete... So don't despair, there's still hope!

I've been complete since 8/26. I passed the initial screen and have been under review since 9/13. I think I am on hold. Poo 😡

So I'm one of those annoying applicants that called the admissions office. The applications go through an initial screen before being reviewed by the committee.

To find out about the "hold" I think you have to call them. Maybe they'll be sending out an e-mail soon.

Really great woman. She says it works like this. All apps go to the screening committee. Mine went early in September. When they come back they are either rejection, possible interview or interview. Some come back in 2 weeks, some take a lot longer. The screening committee has come back with all 3 types already, so I was told it is not a bad sign at all to have not heard yet. Still in the screening is better than rejection. Also, for interview/interview hold the communication method is email and for rejection snail. This is my first post and this forum is really great, although it is very easy to become obsessed here!

My understanding is that if it is still under review, it has not come back to the admission administration yet, which is the case with mine. The admissions administration(the person I spoke to) sends to the committee for screening and awaits one of the 3 possible answers which they then communicate to us. I was told that it just takes them longer to decide on some people. Others get quick interviews or quick rejections or quick interview holds. She said no set criteria exists for the length of time in committee.

I have the id pw combo for the supplemental applic link on the website, but I guess the other link to the interview uses a diff id pw combo. Do you get that info when you get an email about an interview?

does your id pw work? I have mine as well but it gives me an error every time so i just snailed my supp to them.

No status page for RF. Mine went to committee about two weeks after I received the app is final email(8/25). It has been there since(9/5). I think you would get the password info if invited. which would be by email. For info, I was rejected by U of Chicago, Mayo, and Loyola..( I am non traditional and have a funny grade point-very low 20 years ago and very high recently). RF told me my non traditional status might be why mine has been in committee so long. On the upside I was interviewed by SUNY upstate and Creighton and have BU coming up.

with stats like yours...you WILL get an interview there! Last year, my friend got put into a "hold category". and within 2 weeks had an interview

From talking to them, I think the initial screening is to decide whether the app goes to the committee at all. If it passes that, and I think most do, then comes the wait on one of the 3 answers. I was told that all answers are communicated to students.(who knows about time frame though) Great MCATS NJ!

So I called RF this morning cause everyone else was doin it. The woman I spoke to, who was incredibly nice, said she would look into my file and email me what the deal was this afternoon.

Howcome it seems everyone else got some info on the phone? Andd..howcome she didnt email me??

29 isn't terrible, but it definitely isn't high and I got interviewed very early. The bummer part is that they don't send out any decisions until December.
