Is it possible to carpool to your IPPE locations, or if you take the bus, how far are the locations? I won't have any access to a car when I start in the fall this year. Thanks.

You will find it almost impossible to get around without a car in that area. The only major public transportation is Pace. http://www.pacebus.com/ Your sites may not be convenient to it. Also, you might have sites in the Kenosha, WI area. Also, more than likely for retail IPPE, you will be the only student at that location. You can get away with not having a car at UIC but not at Rosalind Franklin.
