Woohoo I'm so stoked to move. Lots of stuff to do! Gotta ship my car in mid July in order to have it by the time I plan to move in. Found an apartment at the Palladium. It's pretty close to campus like 6min drive, 2.6 miles I think... I browsed apartments.com to find a place.

One thing I'll like to say as you all prepare to do your shopping. Your future classroom is very cold so I would recommend buying long sleeves, I cannot express this enough, it is very cold.

Not long ago, I was in your shoes. While you prepare to make this adjustment to grad school and if you have any questions about anything related to Roseman or if you applied to UMC and have any questions, I can be reached back via email/Facebook. From time to time, I'll check back here to see if you have any questions and I'll try my best to answer them for you.

Did or are you doing the UMC internship? How long did it take to get a response? Is there anything you would recommend looking over before we start? The only thing I can think of is top 200...

I am currently an intern at UMC. You should hear something back withing 7-10 days after your interview. Did you have your interview already?

1. Studying top 200 is definitely one of the things I can say you can start studying (brand and generic) would give you a good head start.
2. I would say review biochemistry, because that's like the first hard 3 blocks where a lot of student's don't do well.

As of the 19th my application says on eligible list so i have been anticipating a call but if not its ok. I didnt take biochem in undergrad so I’ll just have to wait on that...

I have been doing it for little under a year. I wasn't able to start until I received my Nevada Intern license. I am doing this to see which side of pharmacy do I like better. Previously, I worked for CVS. I have retail experience and now institutional.

Has anyone done the background check? When I click the link in the word document (bc it can be done online) it says the file is missing. I emailed Kathy but havent gotten a response.

I've tried and haven't been successful yet either. I emailed her too. She thinks the links are in working order.

that what i thought too. she sent out an additional email saying we dont have to upload anything for the background check and thats definitely not what i asked. I will give her a few days before I call.

I’m getting nervous/anxious. I got an email from FAFSA that my credit was approved but I don’t remember hearing anything from the school that my application is complete or that I don’t need to do anything else. I just want to make sure I’ve done everything on my end but there is nobody available to talk to at the school right now. Also, does anyone know when we will get our first disbursement for financial aid?

Yea thats all I got too. As long as you filled out the excel spreadsheet and sent it back to the school you should be fine. You can call FA to double check. Im not sure when the disbursement is.

You can login to Roseman's Financial Aid Portal to check the status of your aid. Theres information about disbursement as well. I remember I have to login to accept the aid.

I lived at the palladium. Been here for about 8months now. I moved for school. If anyone is interested, we can get a 2bedroom and save up on cost. Rent runs around 1100 for a 1 bed room but about 1300 for a 2 bed room. That helps us as students. If interested send me an email at [email protected]

Roseman at Henderson campus: I have a 3 bedrooms and 3 baths house, near school about 5 miles locally, take about 10-12 minutes to campus if anyone is interested. Hi all, the journey is near. I need to calm my nerves because I am anxious.
Anyways, I did my drug/alcohol screening and it cost about $70.

Yes! I had a good 7 months off since graduation and Im antsy! Ive waited forever for this to happen and Im too ready...

Same! I’ve been so excited for this, waiting for this moment to come, it’s been my dream. It’s actually real now though and I’m getting nervous and stressed. I’m leaving my family and boyfriend, all of my comforts behind. It’s going to be a hard few years but we’re blessed that it’s accelerated and we will be done before we know it.

I agree! We have been through deployments and things so this is really no different. We will be able to visit each other (him visiting me mostly) but its better than a deployment imo.

I dont understand the question... you log in and on the home page you should see the documents you need... print that and take to a dr... if you dont have a local doctor i believe the place where we had to get the drug testing does physicals.

Print out the necessary documents from core. Bring them to your doctor to have them filled out. Upload them to core.

Did anybody just did the walk in for the drug test? and is it busy? I kinda just want to show up anytime since ive been so busy this summer with my tentative schedule.

They have not sent out an orientation schedule but would anyone have any insight on what the schedule is like for actual class? like 8-3pm or 8-4ish? I need to schedule appointments and have no clue when to schedule them.

A friend told me. 8-12 is lectures, team activities, and ten minute breaks every hour. 12-1 is lunch. 1-3 lectures again

Ive heard ppl disliked the mini since everything you do is on it and its small. I got an ipad pro for a bigger size plus the pen.

thats what im hoping atleast an ipad pro i dont care if they charge us more, since we're wasting money on it anyways might as well go big lol
