Hey guys!
I am new to this forum, just found it last night. I also interviewed at Henderson last week. I am a nervous mess waiting to hear back and I am concerned now that I am hearing that others who interviewed the same day as me have received a call from Dr. Park. Also, I sent an email to Dr. Lee (who I had interviewed with ) about a week ago with some additional questions I had and no response. Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry about the professor not responding as I'm sure they're really busy. I know it's easy for me to say now but try to put it out of your mind for now as there is nothing you can really do at this point. Try and stay positive. If you don't hear from them soon, I'm sure you'll get some good news once they do their next round of interviews. Hang in there!

Hey guys, just found this thread. I have a question I submitted my application in October, I have a overall GPA of 3.85 and science GPA of 3.90 with academic forgiveness, however, I have a pcat score of 31. Should I retake the pcat or just go ahead and submit my 31. I'm planning of retaking it in January but if my GPA can overcome the low pcat then I will just ahead and submit my Crappy 31.

That's a tough call as a 31 is pretty low. I think you should check last year's acceptance thread and see if anybody got in with a score in the range. I don't think anybody here can confirm the chances of you getting in with that low of a PCAT score.

It might look better if you already have a degree or a ton of experience.

I was feeling the same way. Try to apply anyway, I did. I have PCAT lower than yours (30). I am actually optimistic now than last week since PHARMCAS reevaluated my GPA's. My Science went from 3.5 to 3.86 and my total GPA almost stayed the same, 3.95 to 3.96. Pharmcas explained that my bachelor degree was not included with my first GPA evaluation?... I guess they didn't get all my transcripts?. I don't know what happen but I am happy. Just hope that this would help me to get in. So, all I can do now is wait and find out.

Thanks for the encouragement. Now that I said that, guess what?? I got the call today! I'm in!

Congrats to everyone that got accepted already!! Does anyone know when the next round of interviews are? I'm just a little late due to a small error and wondering how many seats there are remaining... I will have my bachelors before the summer but am wondering if they will even consider that :panda::eyebrow::help:

Most of the professors are pretty busy so shouldn't worry too much if you don't see a reply from them.

Also, didn't see your most recent post, so congrats on getting in 😀

Next round of interviews are in January.

This may have been asked before but did you all get some kind of notification that the supplemental app you sent was received by the school? If so, how long after you sent? It's been over a week since I mailed mine (and I'm local) and got no call nor email saying they received it. I first emailed Dawn Benson as she is the admission specialist but got an instant automated email saying she will be out till December 1st. I emailed Dr. Park, but it being a Saturday I'm anticipating a response hopefully by Monday. Don't know if this will matter but my PharmCAS app will be e-submitted by tonight. Thanks guys

It took about 2 weeks for me as I submitted around the same time they were reviewing ED applicants. I really can't say when you'll hear from them but if you mailed it in you really have nothing to worry about. I'd be more concerned with how fast PharmCAS reviews your app and calculates your GPA.

I turned in my Supplemental and got a response back in less than w week that Roseman has received it. I turned in my PharmCAS also and they just calculated my GPA this week. I was wondering if Roseman will contact me again and confirm that they have received my PharmCAS or should I just assume they have received it?

I don't believe they will contact you when they recieve it, but PharmCAS will email you when your app has been processed.

Thanks for the response guys! I'm still waiting for the email....

Towards the bottom of the cover page of the supplemental app there's this:

APPLICATION RECEIPT NOTIFICATION: You will be notified of receipt of your supplemental application via email

Anyone else in the same pickle as me? I hope to get a notice soon as the holiday is just around the corner unless, someone is in the office during the break and emailing candidates. I just called the office and left a VM for Dr. Park. I may have to drive there on Monday and hand deliver a copy of my app.

UPDATE: I just received a phone call from Roseman saying the admissions office did receive my app and they'll email me as soon as they get my PharmCAS info
So it took about two weeks before they confirmed that they received it?
I sent my supplemental through USPS before thanksgiving and it was supposed to arrive last Friday (I'm a local) but Roseman was closed that day. Now I'm worried it's just lying around somewhere, but that's probably just me overthinking. Haha!

UPDATE:
Actually just received a notification that my supplemental arrived yesterday, and PharmCAS has verified my transcript and calculated my GPA. I'm pretty surprised at how fast that was because I submitted my PharmCAS on Thanksgiving, haha. But! I checked my GPA, and they did not include my credits from the Philippines (graduated there so I have some prerequisites taken there) even though I had WES forward them my evaluated transcript. I read that they'll forward the evaluation to the pharmacy school and that they really do not include them in the GPA calculation. I'm assuming the pharmacy school will just review the evaluation as well then. Anyone had this experience?

PLEASE UPDATE US WHEN THEY EMAIL YOU THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED YOUR PHARMCAS INFO. THANKS!

I got an email about an hour ago stating that they received my application. At this point they are just reviewing what's on the app but cannot thoroughly evalute until a completed PharmCAS application (done) and PCAT scores are in (taking in Jan). I'm assuming these will be automatically transmitted to Roseman. Interviews will be held from Oct till the end of April.

So this is completely random, but I heard from my friends that if you're still working on your prerequisites by the time you are interviewed, you will be waitlisted? Assuming the interview goes well, I mean... like they put you on the waitlist instead of accepting you because you're not yet done with your prerequisites. Do you guys know if this is true? Just wondering.

Not true.

Yup not true. I was accepted and I still need to finish some of the prereqs.

I submitted my application at the end of November. When did you?

Same, kinda. Haha. Submitted my PharmCAS on the 27th and they received my supplemental on the 1st. Hope I get an interview too!!! Congrats on getting an interview, btw! What are your stats if you don't mind me asking?

I got an interview invitation but not sure if I'll be going since I have already placed a deposit down on one of my top picks.

Good luck to everyone!!!
Any tips from those that were already interviewed (and maybe accepted, haha)?

Definitely practice some situational questions. They have updated their questions. Like "talk about a time when..." or "what would you do if...?"

But really just be yourself and understand the interview will be more conversational rather than Q &A.

That helps a lot! Thank you!!!

I'm scheduled on January 20th at the Henderson campus. Anyone else attending that day?

I'll be there that day too. It sure is nice to go to an interview knowing you already have a guaranteed spot elsewhere. No pressure! I'm primarily going out there to enjoy Vegas lol I need a break before school starts.

That was my attitude too but upon arriving I soon realized that was a huge mistake. I absolutely fell in love with the school when I got there. Although I still got accepted I feel fortunate because I don't think I did particularly well on my interview.

But hey, maybe you won't like the program or the area so it probably won't matter if you don't get in. I just know that generally whatever attitude you have prior to showing up will probably be what you project to them. So think twice about that.

Congratulations everyone! I'm still waiting on my grades and stuff. But congrats everyone who got the invitation!

My application was received mid-November and I haven't heard anything yet 🙁 I wonder why

My interview invitation (and the email that they got my supplemental) was in my junk mail. Keep checking there too.

I don't know if anyone get this. I am going to attached some photos after my question. Here it is I received the confirmation about the schedule of my interview date and location. I read something about a new assessment, it says must be done 5 days prior to the scheduled interview. So I clicked the provided link and filled out some personal info and then when I hit enter it gives me this message and I couldn't re-enter. Then when I went to my email I got an automated email saying that Roseman send the info to the Human resources and they will contact me for an interview, whatever that means? Does anyone had this message? Now I wonder if I have to email Dr. Park about this since I couldn't open the rest of the assessment and couldn't complete since I couldn't open it.

Did you enable popups on that site? I had to enable it before I could take the test.
After I took it, I got an email saying Roseman received my information and would contact me for an interview (even though I was already contacted and confirmed my interview date for 1/20/15).

That's why I was confused. Are there 2-interviews? Because I already have a confirmed schedule for an interview.....and so there is a test, I really need to email Dr Park now. What kind of a test was it? Was there an easy like the supplemental or more like situational or more personal ?

Anyway, I did enable popups as the instruction said but it still I couldn't open it. I have to try it again & I guess I have to reprogram my pc (then it is going to take up my time and I just don't have it yet). Thanks mbpuffer

Hey everyone and congrats again to the ones who got accepted last month! For those who have done it already, I understand there are two interviewers, one faculty and one student member. I was wondering if they interviewed as a panel together or if it was two individual interviews? And how long did it last for you guys? Thanks! So excited/ nervous!
