It is super expensive in NJ and around that area too. If I end up accepting my offer I will likely be getting housing on campus and my husband will be staying at the house in PA so we wouldn’t have to sell.
Unfortunately, that is going to be close to the lowest you’ll find in that part of NJ - or really any part of NJ, but the area adjacent to Philly is expensive, I live relatively close to Rowan but closer to Philly, and can say $1450 was the going rate for 1 bedroom apartments over 10 years ago, I can’t imagine now. I’d suggest if possible looking for roommates or talking to Rowan about if they offer subsidized graduate/professional student housing.
Me and my husband thinking the Twin Cities are cheap because, well, compared to southern NJ they are 😭😭😭 why is everything everywhere so expensive though, it’s NOT sustainable.
I was searching on their website yesterday and didn’t see anything like that being offered. The best I saw was one bedroom apartments / townhouse available for single person living on campus

Congrats!!! I’m 31 and it also took me a while to get any acceptances. This was my fourth cycle and have been debating between Bristol (UK) and Rowan but I think I will be accepting my offer to Rowan. I’m really leaning towards it. I fell in love with Bristol’s curriculum but it’s also an amazing opportunity to be part of an inaugural class with more interaction / one-on-one with professors. I’ll likely be accepting my spot this later this week. Hopefully we will be classmates?
