Hey, this is my first post on SDN, so I apologize if I am breaking any sort of rule by posting this here.

I have a couple questions about the Rutgers Research Assistant Program, so if anybody has done this before, or knows about it, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions.

1. Is this a good program for a pre-med freshman to do? Is it meaningful, from the eyes of med school admission committees?

2. Can you apply to be a RA as a freshman during second semester of your senior year in high school? Do you have to currently be at least a freshman at Rutgers to apply?

3. I'd appreciate some feedback on the program, and recommendations regarding its validity and helpfulness.

I think this program is for people who are new to research, and people who have already done a research program aren't eligible. I think I'd like to do this throughout my freshman year at Rutgers and then the following summer do some sort of summer research program.
