Hi everyone, I feel these schools have been beat to death with their comparisons but I would love any insight you might have.

School RVU-Utah
Pros
  • -- Pass/Fail Preclinical
  • -- WICHE Scholarship (I'm from the Mountain West)
  • Great Match List
  • Cheaper

Cons
  • -- Rotation sites? Competing with Noorda and University of Utah for rotations
  • -- Living in St. George? I've only briefly driven through a few times.

School ICOM
Pros
  • -- Really liked the vibes on the admitted students day
  • -- Location and closer to family, more things to do in Boise
  • Match list

Cons
  • -- Letter grade pre-clinical
  • -- More Expensive
School LECOM-Erie
Pros
  • -- Established school
  • -- Good match rates

Cons
  • -- Located on the opposite side of the country
  • -- All of the horror stories that float around on SDN and Reddit

Summary: Overall if I was going off vibes I would pick ICOM. However I realize that RVU is more established, slightly cheaper and P/F pre-clinical which I know seems to make pre-clinical life a lot easier. Overall I wouldn't say I'm super interested in LECOM but would like any input on if I should be considering it more than I currently am.
