s-GPA Calculations: Do non-major classes count? [Resolved]

Hello predents,
First time poster, long time lurker here. I'd like to boost my s-GPA before D school applications next cycle. I go to SUNY Buffalo for undergrad and they offer several genetics classes. There is one through the BIO department that simply does not fit my schedule, as well as one through the APY department that does. Would the APY taught class factor into my s-GPA or would it go into my o-GPA only?

If this has been asked before, please do me a favor and passive aggressively inform me of the search feature.

Yeah, sorry about that, it's anthropology. From what I understand, it's genetics for non-majors.

If it is through the anthropology department it will probably not count as a science course, per the AMCAS course classification guide.
