SC, GA, NC DO's to shadow

Hello all,

I'm in the process of obtaining shadowing hours and having been striking out majorly in terms of obtaining a DO to shadow. I've found two MD's to shadow but as I'm interested in pursuing a DO school next cycle, I'd really like to get that DO letter many schools require. If anyone knows of a shadow friendly DO I would really appreciate it. I'm in South Carolina but could travel to NC or GA.

Have you tried looking at AACOM's database? There's some sort of mentorship thing they do where you can see DO's willing to correspond with students/potentially allow shadowing. You could also try PCOM-GA and/or William Carey. They may know of some DO's in the area. If that doesn't work, dust off your Google skills and search the states' medical board website for DOs.
