Hello, im thinking of applying down at Ross or St georges in january of the upcoming year. for anyone who has started at this time, whats the timeline like for the steps? did anyone who did this, did you have to wait longer for rotations, and then further along down the road the start of your residency. Any response would help

The timeline has very little to do with what month you start in.
Anticipate an extra semester than what you think it will all take to be safe.
Traditionally:
Step 1 - after 5th semester (Ross makes you take shelfs that you have to pass first - good and bad) and before you are too far into 3rd year
Step 2 - between your 3rd and 4th year, good to have results in before residency app goes out but not required
Step 2 CS - begining of 4th year - allow plenty of time for results to come in before match - results get delayed
