I am looking for insight regarding further interviews. I do not want to take a space that someone else could use if it's unlikely I would take acceptance. I do not have any particular ties to any state as I am a Wisconsin resident and go to undergrad in Indiana. I have applied to Marian but haven't heard anything from them. I am DO only due to strong family history of DO's, chiropractors, and philosophy. Was hoping for some interest from Oklahoma because my parents work there, but my stats are probably not as strong as necessary for OOS.

Accepted into ACOM and Pikeville. I liked both a lot. Interviewed at Kansas City, results pending.

Interview offers at AT Stills Kirksville, Edward Via Louisiana, LMU, and Orlando (but dates not available?). How will these stack up? Am I likely to not go with ACOM or Pikeville or should I let them go so someone else can snag them? Primarily looking at cost, board pass rates/quality of curriculum, and potential for an Internal Medicine rotation.

I know to tag @Goro anyone else's opinion would be appreciated!

My preference would be:
1) KCU
2) KCOM
3) ACOM
4) KYCOM, VCOM-LA

I can't recommend LMU or OCOM

It's still early in the cycle, so don't turn anything down just yet.

I feel similar to goro's suggestion but am biased to ACOM. I would put ACOM first and then the list goro suggests. I also wouldnt rule out OCOM if youre able to afford private loans and are confident that you can succeed with less guidance. It seems like a solid school with a dean who really cares about the schools and students success.

1)kcu
2)kcom
3)acom
4)kycom

Your other pending interviews are equivocal/inferior to Acom in my opinion. Kcu beats kcom by location and I say this as a kcom alum. Those 2 are “better” because they’re more established and have a Midwest location which could be helpful moving back home. But there’s nothing magical about them that puts them head and shoulders above Acom or kycom. Acoms location is better than Kirksville.

Did you consider ouhcom?

@Goro I received an A to KCU-Joplin. I am not familiar with the differences and would really appreciate your opinion, does that change your opinion?
