Difference in cost?
Touro is probably as of this moment 120k less. Their COA currently is 375k if you took out everything they listed. NYU is 498 if you took everything.
If you shave off 30-40k living frugally, Touro can cost as little as 335k and NYU 450k(Shame on you NYU).

I vote Touro.
Why not touro?NYU, you can have confidence in the education you're recieving.
Only because of the tuition?I vote Touro.

But don't they already have a class?Touro is a new school, thats the biggest issue.
I understand your argument. You are mostly right, I look at the big picture of them having 3 med schools, few pharm schools and a very large university system, so I believe they will have a great program, EVENTUALLY.Touro is a new school, that's the biggest issue.
The one thing that is iffy is probably their ability to get people into specialty programs. But as far as Im concerned, this dental school is branching off their MOST successful institution, NYMC. That is a very prestigious ALLOPATHIC medical school that is quite competitive to get into. Notice how they are putting NYMC's name onto the dental school? They are risking their medical colleges reputation and name for this dental school.
You can't compare their pharmacy schools to this school because the amount of effort and funding they are putting into the CODM is lightyears beyond what they are putting into their pharmacy and other graduate schools. They also have the most up to date clinical technology because they are a brand new school using all brand new facilities. If dental schools like West virginia, LECOM, UNE and ECU are able to survive, Touro with better funding than all 4 of them, can certainly succeed.

Have a friend at Touro right now; he has expressed a strong confidence that the projected fees are definite underestimates as the years go by. Other than that, I don't know much about Touro's curriculum.
Yeah they can hike tuition up anytime. Who knows by the time 3rd or 4th year comes along and tuition becomes similar to NYU.
Only because of the tuition?
I vote Touro due to cost.
