School list help + lack of state ties

Posted this on reddit but didn't really get any suggestions so thought I would try here:
-23F NY ORM female (2 gap years), US citizen raised abroad and spent half of life there
-undergrad: t20 private: Econ/health sciences major
-cGPA: 3.79. SGPA: 3.86ish
-MCAT: 518 (130/128/128/132)
-ECs:

Clinical:
-2k hours as medical assistant/medical translator at bilingual derm/ortho clinic
-350 hrs clinical volunteering at hospital in college in family med (vitals, rooming etc)
-50-60 hrs shadowing FM/addiction med dr

Research:
-400-500 hrs chem lab: 3 posters at diff conferences + 2nd author for abstract at ACS
-200 hrs summer research fellowship at university hospital (1 poster) -200 hrs wet lab research on lung disease (1 abstract) -400 hrs psych/business research (conducting VR/ behavioral studies)

Volunteering:
-300 hrs at non profit focusing on Latino health in south Chicago
-80-100 hrs doing ignite fellowship tutoring kids
-300-400 hours leading/hosting event + advocacy for formerly incarcerated individuals


Misc:
-Project leader for business club collabing w/health consulting firms
-cooking hobby - trying to write a cookbook !


My concerns:
-I just moved to NY and my family moved to CA a few years ago while I was in college so don't have strong ties to either state even though I'm a citizen, though preferably want to be in those states

sorry this post is kind of long but idk if it's worth applying to this many schools? Any schools that would fit my profile would be extremely helpful, or which ones I should remove.
 
You could remove Indiana since you have no connection to the state. You do not have to apply to VCU twice. Add SUNY Upstate and SUNY Buffalo. You have a good list and should receive several interviews.

I went to college in IN so my advisor told me to add it, would that be worth it?

I guess it wouldn't hurt, but since you said you weren't in the US for half of your pre-college life (?), I guess you'd have to see if your college period counts as a connection. But would you want to stay in Indiana to practice for the next few years? (Not that you are bound to, but it helps to know.)

do not rlly want to be in indiana but i feel like i would do it if i had to for med school
