Hi there,

I am a kinesthetic hands on learner who works construction.

I am now applying to M.D. and D.O. school. Does anyone know of schools that pride themselves in a hands-on style curriculum?

Thanks!

A.t. Still university has 1 year classroom and 3 years clinical, but they seem to be more primary care focused.

Medical training, surprisingly, is very hands off. You're more likely to hold the retractor in the OR than actually do anything meaningful as a medical student. Even "good" schools have this problem. Many of my internmates never intubated or placed a central line as a medical student, which are pretty basic skills for an anesthesiologist.

Maybe that explains why you close your eyes when we make love... Err umm

What I mean to say is look up osteopathic principles and what OMM is before you apply.
