Hi everyone,

Exam in 4 days and just wanted to show my breakdown of my scores. Hoping to shoot in 508+ range after review

Also, tried taking the scored FL in testing conditions yesterday but noisy kids in library caused me to move multiple times.

Good luck to all taking exam in June

1st predictive method
Kaplan:
(490 + 496 + 497 + 503 + 504 + (14.06 x 5))/5 = 512.06

AAMC FL#1:
507 + 5.76 = 512.76

AAMC Unscored Sample Test:
(77 x .7133) + 451.051 + 6.44 = 512.42

(512.06 x 5 + 512.76 + 512.42)/7 = 512.21

2nd predictive method:
(490 + 496 + 497 + 503 + 504 + 507 + 505.98)/7 = 500.43 --> range of 500-504 so add 10.55 = 510.98

Summary: (510.98 + 512.42)/2 = 511.70

So your predicted score based on your practice tests (I don't have a method for interpreting the QPs or SBs) is 511.7

There's around a 50% chance that you'll score 512 or above, around an 84% chance that you'll score 509 or above, and around a 97% chance that you'll score 507 or above, so it looks like you're in great shape to hit your goal of 508+! And actually those percentages are based on a standard deviation of 2.5 which was produced from averaging 5 practice tests, not 7, so your standard deviation is likely a bit smaller and you're very likely to score very close to 512.

Good job and good luck!

This seems a bit inflated, where did you get this converting method?

Hmm well hopefully it is haha. I wonder if the kaplan conversion takes into account the new score scale they used this year though.
It doesn't actually, I don't think, so it might be a bit off because of that. I don't know anything about the new scale haha and it doesn't look like that post was updated when the new scale came out
