If you retake those Cs and apply to DO med schools, they only count the retake grade when calculating your application GPA.
Or, if you wait to apply until your senior year is done, and get a 4.0 each semester after the 3.5 for the current one, your cGPA could be 3.53.
Or, if you keep getting 3.5s, but stay in college for a fifth year, your cGPA would rise to 3.38.
Or, if you get a 30+ MCAT score, you might apply to an (expensive) SMP, which, with a 3.5+ GPA while competing with first year med students, would override a lower cGPA.
