Hi everyone!

Going through secondaries again and realizing how much my primary covered quite substantially. Things like "what have you been up to if you haven't been in a school for a while?" are basically my entire primary. I've squeezed a lot of "reflection" out of my career to this point and worried the only thing of substance left to write about is the nitty gritty detail of my work experience.

Likewise, my OIE essay also covers quite a lot of the "what have you overcome" type of questions fairly substantially.

Any advice for how to handle this? Thank you!!

P.S. are there any consultants that are particularly well known for a helping the non-trad/reapplicants?

The hard part is that you already played some cards in your primary application without looking at the secondary essay prompts.

I don't know how long you have been out of school. What have you been doing since you graduated?

The question is whether you put more of a focus on your career shift retrospectively or prospectively (how you see yourself leveraging your past assets as a future physician) or whether you talk about your preparedness for medical school "enough." We don't have your application to know how you value your past experiences.
