For anyone trying to fill out an application that is in adobe but won't let you type in any words, I found a way to handle it without trying to find a type writer.
1. Open with Adobe reader
2. Click on the T box and switch to the graphic tool.
3. Select any symbols then do copy paste into word. For example: The LECOM graphic will go on the top of the page. You can move it to the correct spot once you have it in word.
4. then go back to the page in adobe. Go to edit --> select all--> control c
5. Go back to word and do paste (or control v.
6. This will bring everything that was on that page into word. You will have to manually format it but that is easy. Just go back and forth from word to adobe to make sure you are putting hings in the correct spot.
7. Anywhere they have lines you will have to delete the lines. You can then type and select the unline option as you type.
You will have to repeat this procedure page by page, but it sure beats trying to find a type writer.
Good luck
