Secondary to Complete

How long is everyone waiting from when they submit their secondary until they expect to be complete? Should I wait a week and email the schools to see why my status has not changed, if everything should have been received? Or should I wait longer?

Do most schools email when secondary is complete? Or do you have to periodically check on the secondary website?

don't email the school after a week, sometimes it takes much longer than you'd expect because they have to deal with a lot of people ahead of you and institutional issues. i would give it 2 weeks or so. from my experience last year, (barring WashU which was remarkably fast), the secondary to complete turnaround time was about 2 weeks with harvard being the longest at 2 months.
