Semester hours in a quarter system?

Hey everyone,

I go to a school that's on the quarter system, but when I was looking at the course requirements for some medical schools, they are all in semester hours (for example, JHU requires 24 semester hours of Humanities, Social, or Behavioral Sciences). Does anyone know how this would convert for a quarter system?

I'm thinking it's something 2 semester hrs = 3 quarter hrs, but I just wanted to make sure...

To convert quarter units to semester units, multiply the total quarter units by .667
