Shadowing/ observation letter of recommendation

Hey guys,

I am currently in the states but still an international student..
I have asked more than one dentist or clinic and some of them let me observe and shadow.. one of them is the UTHealth as well..

I juat started and i know it is early and not proper to ask them for it, but what is the way and a good time that I should ask for a letter of recommendation, do they all give ones?
and what info should be mentioned in the LOR..?

Should it be up-to-date just like the ones from the dean and dental school for applying to the IDP or it doesn't matter?

Don't worry too much about letter. It's an experience which counts more than a letter. You can simply mention your observing experience in your application somewhere i.e. resume/SOP and that should be fine. if you already applied, then you can simply send them an email requesting updating your observing experience in your application file.

Don't they ask for a proof of attendance or something from where I shadowed?
