For those people with shadowing experience, how much time have you spent shadowing docs? What is a reasonable amount to be able to list shadowing as an experience on amcas?

If you include the MMEP program I did with the independant shadowing, I have shadowed about 180 - 200 hours. I think that around >50 hours is enough to list it. Also, try and get a diversity of shadowing experience (different specialties) if you can, at least for your own sake.
