I have informal shadowing that I experienced through different activities and jobs but I only have 6 hours of formal shadowing. Do you think I should include the 6 hours of formal shadowing in my activities section of my AMCAS since it is such a short time?

It counts. Say you've shadowed, tell what kinds of doctors they are and what kind of hospital it was.

Don't mention the length of time.
