So I have always beeen somewhat anxious person. I hate presentations and that kind of stuff. My hands get shaky in stupid social situations. Recently I did my first intramuscular injection and until I inserted the needle everything was fine then I started shaking badly ( I don’t know maybe I was too intensed and when I did the main part finely it got to me) I injected the medicine with very shaky hands. Everything ended up fine but i’m very nervous about being shaky in this kind of situations. I think it will effect my dream of becoming a surgeon. Do you have any tips to reduce shakiness?
P.S I’m not an English speaker so excuse my grammar.

Nah, it's normal until you get used to it. I used to be shaky when I started my phlebotomy job, it just took some time to become more comfortable.

Everyone has some degree of tremor. It looks more obvious when you're doing something to someone because you're focused on it and the adrenaline exaggerates it. If you stabilize yourself by resting your hand/wrist/elbow on something, it will really decrease it. My first PIV, I was shaking like a leaf. Then I started stabilizing my wrist, and it went away.
