The wife has fallen in love with Coronado, California. There's a little Sharp hospital here.

Any idea who staffs the ED here? What's the pay like in SD? (I'm assuming abysmally low....)

It seems that the pay difference coming from Houston has convinced her we're better off coming here for vacations instead!

Don't forget the taxes. At the top end it's 13% income tax. I can't justify paying $30,000 per year just for the privilege of living in the Banana Republic that is California. Stick to a no-tax state like Texas, and use that $30K to take amazing vacations wherever you want.
