So I looked at other threads but couldn't find a good consensus. I was wondering how well shelf exam scores correlated to Step II scores. So far I've taken two shelf exams and not done particularly well on either one ( upper 60s on both)?

Good to hear! And here I thought getting an 80-something percent on a shelf was not doing well...funny how your environment can skew your perspective...

Pretty much same story - ranged from 71 (surgery) to 84 (psych) raw on the shelves - got a 264. 😀

I'll Chime in: Low 73 (Psych) to High 90 (Medicine) Average all year ~80, Step 2 264👍

Sure they will correlate. Probably Fam Med, psych, neuro matter a little less than the ones like Med, OB, Peds, Surg just because not as many q's from the prior subjects will end up on step 2.

I avg'd in the mid-high 80s on shelf exams, min of 75 (fam med) max of 95 (IM), scored 279 step 2.
