I just received my Jan. 06 PCAT with 80%. My lowest scores are verbal (58%) and reading (43%). I will take the PCAT again this June to improve these areas but should I go ahead and apply? I won't be done with my prerequisite until this summer so my plan is to get into pharmacy school for FAll 2007. Is it too early to apply? I know those people who are applying for FAll 2006 are still being considered and interview so I don't know if it is too early for me to apply a year ahead.

Does anyone plan to go to UT Memphis? Did you do the application online?

I'm not sure whether or not it is too early to apply, but I do plan on going to UT Memphis. To give you an idea of how they do things timewise, I did the application online and I probably submitted it around the end of November/beginning of December. Within a couple of weeks I got an interview invite for Jan. 19th, and since then I was accepted. I know their deadline for Fall 06 was February 28th, so I would assume that any applications after that point would automatically roll into the next cycle. Hope this helps!

Yeah, it is too early to apply. PharmCAS doesn't reopen until June. Non-PharmCAS schools usually don't accept applications until August, so just be patient 🙂

The application period for the new cycle doesn't generally start until the late summer, so you'll have to wait a bit. It's good that you got a jump start on your PCATs though 👍
