hHi
I am an international student who just finished 3rd year in a state college. I currently have 3.21 overall with 2.83 science. I have a total of 100+ shadowing hours from various specialties and i am scheduled to take DAT in early August. Also, i am about to get a green card some time around this August so I would have to apply at the late August or early September for better chance. If that is the case, am i taking DAT too late?
Should i apply for this cycle or wait another year? I have heard that reapplying after getting rejected lowers my chance on the next cycle because the school knows that i have been interviewed before thus having some advantage on the next trial. Is that true?

I'd appreciate for your help

i wouldn't apply this cycle. your science gpa is too low, and being that you are an international student, it's even more of an uphill battle. take more science courses via a post bacc or masters prog and then reapply next year. good luck!

Well If you were a U.S citizen and had a crazy high DAT score(23+)...There is a chance

But you are not a u.s citizen so it will be rather difficult.

Also, I don't think a school will care if they interviewed you before. I am sure if you applied one cycle with

3.3 and an 18

then a

3.4 and a 20

obviously one looks much better than the other.
