I just got an interview invite from EVMS, and despite being grateful, I'm really torn about whether I should attend. I currently have 1 acceptance (from Quinnipiac), on 2 waitlists (WMed and UVM), and am waiting on my state school (UIC), VCU, and Rosalind Franklin. I am also attending another interview at Oakland in February.

My cycle has honestly been a lot more successful than expected, which is a blessing and a curse. I'm already spending a couple thousand on attending 8 interviews (had to fly out to all of them), and idk if I should spend another ~$500 and take off from work to go to my EVMS interview.

Is EVMS worth it? I would be paying OOS tuition, and it is hours away from family. However, I know that they are an established school and I love their community focus. But I only see myself attending over Quinnipiac if they give me a scholarship that would make it ~10k+ cheaper, since I loved my experience at Quinnipiac. What would you all do in my position?

You have the acceptance already at a school you loved and have many more interviews that sounds like you are more interested in. Give the interview slot to someone else.

When is your EVMS interview? If it soon(within 2 weeks) I would cancel it, if not, I'd keep it, but schedule it for the last available date. Yes you prefer Quinnipac, but I'd wait until I get decisions from one or two more schools(i.e what if they're waitlists/rejections). Depending on the results from those schools, I'd cancel EVMS. I think if you cancel at least two weeks ahead of your date they still can invite someone else to fill your spot.

You should go. Quinnipiac is a new school, more established schools tend to offer more opportunity. Also, clinical experience at a university hospital is better for students than community hospitals.

Having interviewed at both Netter and EVMS, don’t bother with your EVMS interview, especially if it’s going to be a financial burden.

Netter is newer, which I understand is some cause for concern, but if you loved the atmosphere at that school, you won’t find the same at EVMS. EVMS has a lot more traditional students and doesn’t leave me with the same warm and fuzzy feeling that Netter does.

I would take the Netter acceptance and run with it if I were you.
