Hi,

I am struggling this cycle, having applied back in June and not really receiving interviews. I have a 3.78 overall 3.76 BCP with a 21 DAT so I don't think the issue is my stats. Should I email schools such as Pitt, Louisville, NYU, and Temple regarding my application?? My stats are well above their average and I really want to interview there.

Just calm down and take a deep breath.. I am sure there is still time for you to get an interview.. your stats are promising so I wouldn't be too concerned about that.. I am not sure how much the ADCOM can tell you.. you don't want to sound to pushy... would this be the first time you have contacted the schools about your application?

Give Louisville a call and say you are checking on the status of your application

P. S. Don't mention being "way above average"...

I had e-mailed the schools I had applied to. I let them know that I recently got a job in the dental field and that I know dentistry is what I want to do. I also said I haven't heard from you so I wanted to keep you updated. I also added how much I wanted to go to the schools if they were apart of my top choices so that I could update them and not seem like I was asking too much about my application maybe try something like that if you have done anything that isn't reported on AADSAS.

In general, did most of the schools you emailed reply back to you?
