So I applied to 21 schools, submitted all my stuff by late Aug/early Sept. I have three interviews so far and four rejections. At this point, is there are a significant likelihood of any more interview invites?

It's hard to say since there are so many factors that determine whether one gets an II...stats, personal statement, ECs, and so much more.

However, I have gotten IIs after being complete for a while. I was complete back in late July and got 2 IIs in January.

Okay, if it helps any I have a 32 MCAT and 3.6 GPA. Pretty standard ECs, and in my opinion a compelling PS.

Where did you apply?

A lot of people that I just interviewed with were getting interviews now.

I think I got an interview in January. All hope is not lost, but it depends on the school. Not all schools interview into April, so interview cycles are starting to wind down. Still a couple months left.

So the consensus I'm getting here is that most schools wait until the end of the cycle to send out rejections?

What do the no's mean at the end of each school on your list?

I just copied and pasted the list from AMCAS, they just mean I've never applied there before. This is my first time applying so I've never applied anywhere before.

You may get one more interview. I wouldn't count on it, though.

I think it's still possible. I got an interview today that I'm going to withdraw from and I was complete at schools at the same time as you.

Haha maybe if more people like you withdraw I'll have a good shot!

Although I suppose at this point I should focus my energies on rocking the three interviews I have, since that may very well be enough for an acceptance.

Three is a pretty solid number. Certainly not a guaranteed acceptance but definitely possible, I agree with focusing on your interviews.

I'm hoping for a little more love. Still haven't heard back from half of my schools, and I've already sent 2 update letters so I'm not sending any more... lol.

Though it seems like everything is being pushed back a bit more this cycle. Alot more applicants this cycle compared to previous is what I've heard. I've also heard some schools extending their interview limits.

But whatever. Here's to hoping!

You never know! I applied to 20 schools, complete in late July/August for almost all of them. Got an II in September and then just silence/holds/rejections until I got another II yesterday. I still haven't heard from 10 schools, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

The MD cycle is pretty much over, in terms of IIs. Good luck with the three hits!

Most NY schools are pretty much done from what I hear.

It's really school specific. The schools I applied to interview until March/April.
