Should I memorize the IR/NMR spectrum stuff for Chem section?

Is there going to be any problems on it or should I at least memorize the main ones like -OH groups etc

Frankly I don't remember if I had any problems on this. My Kaplan instructor however just told us to memorize the main ones (like OH as you mentioned) and have a familiarity with splitting patterns.
