One of my schools (less than 300 miles from AMCAS) sent out my transcripts on May 29th. As of today, AMCAS still haven't marked "Received" yet.

Should I wait another week, or request another transcript? I don't want to send in another copy because I fear it may confuse AMCAS. But I also don't want to wait too long for my transcript to get there.

What should I do?

Also, I included the transcript request form.

I'd wait. The 29th was Thursday and maybe the mail wasn't picked up etc etc. It's also busy at AMCAS so I'd wIt until next Thursday or Friday.

They are currently marking "received" transcripts that were delivered on June 3 (according to the AMCAS login page). It's not unlikely that your transcript was delivered on June 4 or 5 even though you're relatively close to AMCAS. There's probably a delay between when it is physically delivered and when they acknowledge that it has been delivered, then a longer delay between delivery and marking "received." So in all likelihood, you should expect your transcript to be marked as "received" early next week.

If you really want to cover your bases, and if it doesn't cost anything to request another transcript (or if you don't care about the cost), sending another transcript won't confuse them.

Thanks.

The thing is though another transcript from a place much farther away was marked as received early this week.

That school sent out my transcript at the same time.

The schools may have sent the transcripts via different methods perhaps? Like priority mail vs regular mail or something. All signs point to everything working out fine next week, but it's understandable if you want to be safe and send another transcript.

Regardless, I am still very early, right?

I am submitting my primary next Monday/Tuesday

Thanks. That's good to know!

I am applying to around 19 MD schools with a 3.6/33, though my most realistic shot is with DOs. I'll be sending in AACOMAS mid June as well.

I think I got this.

A 3.6/33 is good enough for so many MD schools man, what are you talking about? MD is quite realistic for you.

I have I have a non-negligible shot.

But I have an even better shot at DO especially because of my shadowing ECs. I just want to be a physician.

Lol. I sent my transcripts about 10 days before you and have yet to receive a confirmation/received status. So I wouldn't stress it.
