Hey everyone. I just took the GRE and am feeling kind of dejected. It was my second time taking it. I scored higher than the first time, but not high enough as I had hoped or needed to and was wondering if I should take it a third time or just take my chances with these scores? V 154 Q 151

I think it depends on your other stats and what schools you're applying to. Those are not great scores but they are good and are on par for many schools. With those considerations in mind, you just have to decide if you really need your gre to be stellar to boost other stats.

Well my cum GPA is completely shot so I'm applying to schools that only consider the Last 60 credit GPA and/or Prereq GPA, which are 3.92 and 3.5-3.95 (depending on the school) respectively. I have around 350+ hrs (Inpatient, and as an outpatient aide for 6 months), and LOR's from a PT, Professor, and a Health Care Manager. My GRE scores fall below the average scores of accepted students at some of the schools, however they are within the range of accepted students at all of these schools. I'm just torn between taking the test again to hopefully score a couple of more points to get in the average accepted range, or use these scores and hope the other stats compensate.

Have you used taken the free GRE practice tests on the GRE website? Or taken any with Magoosh? If not, I would suggest studying pretty hard for a couple of weeks (or however long you can within the deadlines for taking the GRE) and then take a couple of practice tests. I found that my scores on those were pretty close to what I actually received. If your practice test scores are an improvement, take the GRE again. If it's about the same, save your pennies and go with what you've got already.

Your score is good, better than what I had. If you feel like you have the time and the mental fortitude to go through the test again then do it. I myself attempted 3 times. It will be beneficial to take a free practice test like futurePT2017 said. This will strengthen your GRE-taking endurance. You can download the software on the GRE website.
