Random question...I need money, and I've kept it for a while because I thought it would be good to keep for the DAT...could i get away with selling it and just depending on DAT study materials for the info??

i originally kept my textbooks for DAT studying purposes. I don't think I opened them once when I was studying, however, and used only the DAT books I had purchased. Thats just was just my experience, but I would say you don't really need it.

no you don't need the genetics book for DAT. Just study from intro to bio textbook and any other study guide you can get your hands on.

Oh yea, get rid of that thing while you still can. I relied on DAT/MCAT prep books to study for the DAT. I still had my old textbooks thinking maybe I'd be able to use them as well, but I never even opened them. And now I've got a ton of DAT and MCAT stuff I need to sell. 🙄

Anybody interested??

If you can get any real money for it, I'd sell it. The genetics covered on the DAT will be covered in a basic Biology textbook. It is not that in depth that you need all 500 pages ;-)
