I have received interviews from a few schools with my old worse PCAT score, however I recently retook the PCAT in January. My new score is 24 percent greater than my old score and I received a 95 in the chemistry section. Should I bring my new score to my interviews in hopes of improving my chances of getting in?

I would slam it down on the table, scream "How do you like them Apple?!?!" and rip off part of your suit.

In all seriousness, no. They'll receive your new scores and your interview is about who you are as a person.

Phathead is right. If they ask you about it, you can tell them how much you improved. Most interviews are closed-file, which means that they haven't seen your gpa or pcat scores. Pretty much they just want to see the type of person you are and how well you can communicate on the spot.

Yo phathead, you need to fix your twitter link in your signature. It bothers me.

By the time you go for an interview, your designated pharmacy schools will also have your PCAT scores from PharmCAS !!!

Unless, of course, your school doesn't take January results

When I contacted one pharmacy school I was told to just bring it with me to the interview and that they would add it to my file even though it was past their deadline. Another school said to just fax the score to them. (just in case anyone else has the same question 🙂)

I would dangle it in front of the interviewers like Dirk Diggler showing his wares.

print it on a custom t-shirt and you are good to go, be sure to include the previous scores on the back
