Should I stay... or should I go??

Alright... looking to do my pre-meds... As some may know already I'm an NC resident at Appalachian State in the frigid NC temps... hehe. (at least, right now its frigid anyway)

I asked earlier about doing my pre-meds... thanks for yalls help. But I mentioned I am pretty much a go at Florida Atlantic University if I wanna go get another degree in order to do pre-meds... now, i'm about to graduate- but I could stay longer and add a biology minor..

my question is, should I stay in NC? I know we have several med schools... but I also know that UNC, Wake, and Duke are very selective. Is Florida a better state to etablish residency in? There are four med schools down there as well from what I understand... would my chances be better as a Florida resident for getting in?
