I know this is more of a personal preference, but I want opinions from others to aid in my decision. I'm two years removed from completing my udergrad degree (major in biology and minor in chemistry). I've taken the DAT twice to average scores. I self-studied for it and discovered I'm not disciplined enough to do so. However, I've recently taken an interest in potentially going to med school. I have a friend who recently started med school, so I could use all of his study material. My issue with this decision is that I don't remember much at all from biochem and physics from my time in undergrad and I know that plays a big role on the MCAT. I can use my friend's study materials and do a Kaplan course like he did because it helped him tremendously. I'm still worried I'll have trouble with basically having to start from scratch on biochem and physics, along with the social sciences that were recently added. So any opinions on if I should study for and take the MCAT, or just focus on the DAT. All suggestions and advice are welcome. Thanks in advance!
