Hey everyone,
The above link is basically my "situation" that I posted in WAMC. It will clarify A LOT as to why this is a hard decision for me.
Basically, I just took my Biochemistry exam and needless to say, I did a lot worse than I wanted. I am desperately trying to get my AMCAS sGPA to 3.6 by next year when I apply, and I absolutely need at least an A- to attain that. And well...even though 71.5% of my grade is still up in the air (the midterm I just took was worth 28.5% of my grade), it's going to take a monumental effort and some luck to get that grade. I would obviously work hard, but it may not be enough.
Should I withdraw from Biochemistry and take it next year?
The problem is I'm already behind on my credits and I have already retaken 2 courses (although I did raise those grades from Cs to As), and have 1 W on my transcript.
Would 2 Ws be too much and come across a major red-flag to Adcoms? Even if I end up getting an A-/A next semester in Biochemistry?
