hello,

I just started study for PCAT. My friend told me about the Dr. Collins and I'm really interested studying with this material.
They offer class near my city and i wonder if I should take class by paying $700 or just order study guide to study my own?

what are pros and cons?

Thanks

Don't waste your money if you have a decent study habit. Methinks prep classes are nothing but reinforcing you to sit down and learn the same materials that you can do alone at home. I say just get the books and save yourself some cash

I haven't taken the exam yet, but I think that the packet itself helps immensely and from what I have read on here, people have still gotten the results without going to the class. I would recommend just buying the packet. It is also much cheaper, especially if you use buy it used from someone on this forum.

I took the class cause it was near where I am staying and not many ppl take it. Do u need the class?not really if ur too far from it or u can diligently study by urself. They do go over the material though adding extra stuff not in the packet and they did help give quick solutions to questions ppl had who took the test and couldn't figure out a quick way to get the answer. i.e quant
