i know aadsas is all rolling basis so earlier is better and i personally want to try submitting the day it opens since my stats are not the greatest.

but do you think it really does make a big difference?

thanks guys!

The earlier the better because AADSAS will be swarmed with applications that they need to verify GPAs for, so the sooner you're in that queue, the sooner schools get your app!

Conversely, if you apply much later than everyone they verify your GPA in like a day lol

A large cohort of people apply immediately, it takes a while for the drones that run aadsas to shift through transcripts. One positive of applying much later (months) is that everyone else was responsible and now there's no other transcripts for them to look at before yours so they can take care of it in a day or two rather than weeks. Does that mean it's a good idea to apply late? Of course not. Apply as soon as you reasonably can, just understand if you apply quite late you have less wiggle room if something goes wrong, and schools may have filled most or all of their pre-dec interview slots.

I wholeheartedly agree with @doc toothache, it's the reason why highly competitive applicants can apply glaringly late in the cycle and still get their choice school.

are you taking classes in the summer?
even if you are, i would suggest applying on the first day /ASAP since you'll have a better chance at getting interviews

I applied in late July because I needed to take some few classes and I was waiting for my grades to get updated from Spring. Id say apply when your application is ready.
